We picked up Camarin from her Dad's house and can now officially declare it The Week of Twins, the sequel! And off to CVG we go.
Aunt Cecily made sure they had her phone number in case of an emergency
and then wished them the best of luck!
After a hard day of playing at the park, gymnastics and bowling, the girls were VERY ready for a snack. Not sure what was so serious to Coralee, but everything got much better after they had some food in their bellies. They were very busy playing "work" when it was time to go meet Nana.
When Aunt Cecily was done with her meeting, Nana gave her a good report. They had Whataburger for dinner (good thing both girls really like Whataburger!) and then just played
(it was too windy to swim.)
Quote of the day:
"You have to put on gloves to flip Natalie over.
I know these things because I've been alive longer than you."
Coralee instructed Camarin as they prepared to have surgery on poor Natalie whose ailments were too numerous and too complicated to list (and I am a pretty imaginable speller). Natalie, the patient, was a female (although I am unclear how that was determined because as per Camarin, you know they are a girl when they have eyelashes) neighborhood little black bug that was just fortunate enough (or rather unfortunate depending on how you look at it) to be treated by our young doctors. We are not sure if she will make it or not, it has been touch and go (or rather we touched her and then went on about other business).
Aunt Cecily found the girls both in the guest bed "asleep" and not wanting a 3:00 am wake up call to the tune of "Can't Touch This" (or is it She's Touching Me?), promptly made the decision to separate them into the separate bedrooms for the night.
Sweet Dreams!!
Just to set the record straight - I asked where the girls wanted to eat without making ANY suggestions. They really had to twist my arm to get me to eat at Whataburger ... NOT!
